Luis Berros (1970) is a Cuban-American who spent several years as an apprentice of the modern Cuban visual artist the late Lesver de Quiros, developing through the studio a style of oil and canvas and gaining a sensibility for color and composition.

Berros has been involved in Miami emerging urban mural arts since the 1980s and whose clean, warm children characters on canvas led to commission work as an official Walt Disney illustrator. In 2018, his series “Children of Migration” on wood carries symbolism, yet embraces the same positive and motivating moods that have defined his red thread of creations.
